Keepers of Doubt (commonly referred to as The Keepers) are an Irish indie rock band. Formed in 2010 Dublin Ireland, the band currently consists of Marc Roche (lead vocals), Fergal O’Kelly (guitar, backing vocals), Alan Dempsey (guitar), Kieran Harrington (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Tiarnan Johnston (drums). Keepers of Doubt have a playing style which is largely influenced by indie rock, punk and reggae. The band has released a four-track demo: Keepers of Doubt (2010) and their first studio album: Uncertain Silence (2012).  Uncertain Silence comprises of 10 songs that are the brain child of the band songwriters Marc, Fergal and Alan. When asked at a recent interview with 2XM (RTE Radio’s Digital Station) to describe what was their inspiration for writing the album, they said: “We write about our lives and share our views on hangovers (Blackout), broken hearts (Out of My Hands), ruined societies (Cash Cow) and ultimately keeping the faith (No Time for Doubt)”. In a bid to retain a certain rawness & freshness our debut album Uncertain Silence, was recorded in just 8 weeks and with most of the tracks being recorded in a single take Keepers of Doubt have begun to track new songs for their follow up to Uncertain Silence which they hope to release at the end of 2013.
