**TICKETS ON SALE THIS THUR 26th MAR, 9AM** With a recent No.1 EP and “Boy” still making radio waves this band are continuing the Rise. Returning to Whelans – where their last show sold out – and with the new EP demonstrating a new found sense of ‘something special’…this promises to be one to remember. The highly anticipated release in March 2015 of their latest EP ‘Running’, produced by industry veteran Stephen Hague – New Order, Blur, Peter Gabriel – reached No.1 in the Irish Physical Singles Chart and No.2 in the iTunes Chart on pre-order. The lead out track ‘Boy’ has received fantastic radio support on major stations and continues to get heavy rotation while the Music Press have had only nice things to say – “An apprenticeship of sorts might just be coming to an end with the release of this, their latest EP…” – Tony Clayton Lea, HMV.com “It’s a pop song begging for an arena to fill…” – Conor McCaffrey, The Star The new record has ushered in what Tony Clayton Lea has described as “a level of musical maturity that perhaps some of their critics wouldn’t have thought the band possible of”. Even Piers Morgan on a recent trip to Dublin tweeted “Discovered a couple of great new bands in Ireland. Check out @Vannmusic…” If you’ve been lucky enough to catch them at Electric Picnic, Longitude, Castlepalooza, Indiependence, Other Voices or Guinness Amplify to name but a few, over the past years you’ll know the reason they light up the festival circuit. After the most recent performances to packed houses in Button Factory and Vicar Street this is a great chance to catch them in the intimacy of Whelans and will be a further opportunity for the band to show that they are ready for the Rise. ‘Running’ Ep – available @ hmv stores & itunes – http://apple.co/1MYIBA4
