The Laundry Shop is Steve Robinson, vocals and guitar, Tanya O Callaghan on bass and backing vocals and Geoffrey French on Drums.

Formed in 2008 by frontman Robinson as a vehicle for his emotive songwriting and love of alternative rock music. He wrote and performed all instruments on the group’s debut release,”Grandstanding”. The Album was a huge critical success and led to a lot of Interest in the group.

After touring extensively with an ever changing line up for the next 2 years, a chance meeting led to a jam session with bassist Tanya ‘O Callaghan.Tanya was already an in demand session player who’s work had led her to write and record with the likes of Maynard James Keenan(Tool/A Perfect Circle/Pucifer) amongst others. She shared an affinity for the kind of music The Laundry Shop was making.

Geoffrey French an extremely talented powerhouse of a drummer had previously played with Pixie Lott amongst others. A musical chemistry was instantly recognized resulting in an extremely exciting live act.

The Laundry Shop are gearing up for the release of the long over due second record which will be entitled,” Exit at Salvation” and distributed through Medicine Ball Records. The record was recorded with Multi-platinum producer Dan Korneff( Paramore, Papa Roach, Breaking Benjamen) at House of Loud Studios in New Jersey.
