THE ESTABLISHMENT

The Establishment are a Nottingham based indie band formed in 2006 by guitarist John Burns and drummer Steven Landon; they were quickly joined by vocalist Stephen ‘Hobbo’ Hobster, bass guitarist Neil Jacks and guitarist Stuart Landon. The band came together with the collective ambition to write and perform their own music, which has proved to be a great decision as the band have enjoyed huge success in both the UK and Ireland, and have a fan base that stretches to different corners of the globe.

Over the past few years the band have built up an extensive repertoire of original material resulting in the recording of their debut EP “Last one home” which sold out within a short period of time. The Establishment released their debut single “Be that way” and achieved lots of profile, including plays on Capital FM, BBC radio 5 live, BBC’s radio Derby, Northampton, Birmingham, Stoke, Mansfield, BRMB Birmingham, Touch FM, Talksport, BBC 606, Colin Murray’s Fighting Talk and TV appearances on BBC Question of Sport, Sky Sports, ESPN Talk of the Terrace (live in the studio and a live performance at the 2011 F.A. cup final). Accompanying the single is the music video which has cameo roles from some legendary ex-international England players and a well known soap star.

The band have recently joined forces with ex professional footballer Dion Dublin who is now in place as the bands full time manager which has since seen them go from strength to strength, with tour dates with Status Quo, Ocean Colour Scene, Cast and performances on radio alongside acts such as Badly Drawn Boy, Toploader, Annie Mac, Starsailor and The Futureheads, also with festival appearances at Latitude, Reading and Leeds. It was while touring with Ocean Colour Scene that the band managed to capture the services of OCS and Paul Weller guitarist Steve Cradock into co-producing and performing on their debut album alongside renowned producer Matt Terry (The Enemy, One Night Only, The Noisettes) with the album due to be released in July.

The bands new single ‘Jennifer Jones’ has just been released. Accompanying the single is the music video which has cameo roles from some legendary ex-international England players and a well known soap star. The boys have just finished a successful 10 date promotional tour for the single, which saw them play shows at various football stadiums around the UK.
