MIDTOWN REIGN

Dublin based four piece folk-rock band Tarantella Fall are looking forward to the launch of their first single “Home” from their forth coming second album. It has been produced by Dave ‘Skippy’ Christophers, whom they worked with on their first long player ‘Abandoned Road’, and he is currently putting the finishing touches to the eagerly anticipated new Fox Jaw Bounty Hunters and In Their Thousands records. This homecoming gig will feature a lot of new material along with a number of the old faithfull’s. Their music has been described by James Hendicott of Golden Plec as “Riddled with stark story-telling imagery and consciously evoking the dark realities of the poorer side of the tracks in the American mid-West….”.

The new material sees the band expand on their well rooted folk-rock sound into more melodic-radio friendly numbers while occasionally delving even further into the shadows of the human soul. Switching smoothly between acoustic and electric based material this is a band that always puts melody first. In recent times they have had the privilege of having one of their songs “Dirt” chosen by the fantastic artist Barry Jazz Finnegan to accompany his drawing of Liam Neeson from Taken 2, and another song “Junk” chosen by ESPN to soundtrack their Supercross preview video, check out the following links:
