Described by Hotpress as ‘supping from a well that is sunk way beneath the topsoil of pop’, the critically acclaimed and award winning Jerry Fish plays The Soulstir Sessions. Touring previously with Damien Rice, Vyvienne Long has been known for sometime as a boundlessly talented cellist and arranger. Her debut album Caterpillar Sarabande was received to great acclaim ‘Here, on her debut full length, she displays all her talent, confidence and humour to fabulous effect. As you would expect from such an experienced player, this is a gorgeous album’. Vyvienne’s well known version of The White Stripe’s Seven Nation Army appeared on Even Better than the Real Thing vol 2.

Playing New Orleans style music including artists such as Dr. John, the outrageously good Toot Sweet and the Shadow Man promise to bring a touch of Mardi Gras to the evening.

Supporting will be Last Minute Earl – with flavours of Snow Patrol, Paola Nutini and something extra; the talented guitar duo, Gypsy’s Wish playing a deep veined blend of blues, soul and gypsy jazz style; and vocalist and guitar player Tony McCann.
