Hailing from Thurles, Co. Tipperary and based in Dublin, SESKIN LANE are a new venture by former The Rumours guitarist and song writer – Eoin Ryan. Ryan re-joins forces with two other original members of “The Rumours”, along with some additional local talent; they have quickly completed their debut album in the studio and are ready to take to the stage! With influences evident from across all types of rock from Brit Pop to Gospel, Seskin Lane’s catchy melodies and strong memorable chorus’s will prove difficult to ignore in an emerging Irish music scene.
Having had a No.1 Download single with The Rumours and appearing at the ‘Crawdaddy stage at the Electric Picnic in 2006 & 2007 as well as a host of radio and media performances, the lads are no strangers to the Big stage.
Eoin Ryan is joined by Rumours bassist Nigel Grace and Drummer James Phelan in their new venture. Guitarist Niall “Shocks” O Shaughnessy completes the new line up.
With their debut album out later in Summer 2011, SESKIN LANE are busy touring and widening their fan base with every show, quickly gaining notoriety amongst national and local radio stations and newspapers as well as music magazines and blogs. Seskin Lane are sure to be a formidable & familiar force in Irelands budding music scene for years to come.
