SEANIE VAUGHAN

+ with special guests Kenneth Coyne and Damien McMahon Support Shane O’ Brien
In the aftermath of his debut album “Altered Vision” and a rip-roaring show in The Button Factory last February, the dust has settled and Seánie Vaughan lands at Whelan’s to introduce his latest release, the new single “The Fall”.
He ticked off 2011 as a relatively successful year for an independent artist with support slots in The Olympia Theatre and The Waterfront Hall in Belfast, being playlisted on BBC Radio 2 and RTE Radio 1, gaining airplay on Today FM, 98Fm and Radio Nova and getting to no.5 in the Irish Indie Albums Charts.
Tonight, Seánie will be joined on stage by Kenneth Coyne on lead guitar and Damien McMahon (Tupelo) on Bass. It will really be a special show, pared back from the normal set which features an 8-piece band. This will be an honest performance with soulful vocals, slick guitar and a guest performance on bass from Damien McMahon from one of Ireland’s best emerging bands, Tupelo.
