GREG CLIFFORD

The four-piece alt.rock band S.I.L will release their much-awaited debut album Red Horizon on iTunes on June 25, 2013. The band celebrate it’s release with their first visit to Whelan’s Upstairs. Opening for S.I.L on the night will be Dublin’s Greg Clifford.

The release of Red Horizon follows the highly positive response to S.I.L’s debut single and video ‘Broken Glass’, already released as a trailer for the album. S.I.L formed in 2012 and are based in Gorey, Co Wexford, Ireland. Diarmuid Comerford and Cupie have played music together since 2009. In previous bands, including Bocs Social and Chucky’s River, the members of S.I.L have played on the same bill as Ash, The Minutes, Status Quo, The Blizzards, The Coronas, BellX1, Jerry Fish and Sharon Shannon.

The band will be touring nationwide throughout the summer.
