Ross Breen released his self‐produced debut album When I Met The Devil in 2011, leading quickly to a number of hugely positive reviews:

“…one of the most accomplished albums to invade my space in a long time.” – 4.5/5 Jackie Hayden, Hot Press

“… fresh, inventive and daring… The Irish music scene’s best kept secret? Maybe it’s time more people were told.” – 9/10 Drop-d.ie

In June 2012, Ross was the winner of Ireland’s Best Unsigned SingerSongwriter competition, as held by the Tom Dunne Show on Newstalk 106 FM. His song, Monet was chosen by a judging panel as the best entry from over a thousand submissions.

In April 2012, Ross’ song Life Support (the first single from When I Met The Devil) was chosen as the title track on a compilation album released by Delphi Records in aid of Pieta House, a suicide and self harm prevention society.

Currently nearing completion of album two, titled New Born Vibrancy, the Kildare‐born songwriter has consistently impressed on the live stage, earning countless invitations as a special guest with the likes of Bell x1, Sinead O’ Connor, Declan O’ Rourke, Damien Dempsey and Oscar‐winner Glen Hansard. As well as completing a successful east‐coast tour of the U.S. in late 2011, Ross Breen has built up a large following performing with his band at a number of Ireland’s premier festivals, including Electric Picnic, Body And Soul, Indiependence, Hard Working Class Heroes, Vantastival, Knockanstockan, No Place Like Dome, Jack of Diamonds and Spirit of Folk.
