Pavlov’s dogs are a dirty, soulful rock and roll band. The band’s tone isgeared towards a rootsy authentic sound combining bright guitars withraunchy blues inflected vocals. Having been grist to major label’s millwith previous bands such as The Driven, the band, Paul Power (vocals)and Darrin Mullins (guitars), took a determinedly independent approachthis time, cooking up Pavlov’s dogs and writing the new album in a homestudio, situated in an attic over a pub (The Oval, Cork). Lyrically dark yetgrasping at hope, ‘The Truth of Your Lies’ is an album that carries noagenda other than music for music’s sake. Pavlov’s Dogs release theirdebut single ‘Home’ from the album ‘The Truth of Your Lies’ on the 11th of Aug.
