He is a school teacher with an extraordinary ability to write songs and a highly regarded singer who released his debut single “Unintentional hero” to the nation on July 4th 2014 .The song is dedicated to his lifelong friend and fellow musician, Taidhg Burke-Neff, who died in a tragic accident in October 2013.It made the top 20 in the Official Irish Charts and held the number 1 spot for a week in the Itunes Singer-Songwriter charts displacing none other than Hozier’s ‘Take Me To Church’ Taidhg was an Organ Donor and subsequently saved a number of lives and inspired not just the song but the Unintentional Hero Project. The project is aimed at increasing awareness of the need for Organ Donors worldwide, and is accompanied by a Video involving 20 families from all over Ireland who have lost a loved one who donated an organ or who have been the beneficiaries of organ donation. This highly moving video tells the stories of these people and how it brought light into their lives at a time of darkness. Pa released his debut album ‘Poor Man’s Clothes’ in February 2016. It was the second highest new entry to the official Irish Album charts on its release week and went in at number 8 in the Irish Artist Album Charts. It has had fantastic review so far, all of which can be found on this website. Pa is touring Ireland for ten days in June 2016 and the venues will be announced on this website very soon. Pa has previously toured Ireland and East Coast USA as well as playing one off show’s in Portugal, France and the UK.
