Centred around the wizardry of concertina player and electronic sound designer Pádraig Rynne, the band is anchored by Cillian King on guitars & vocals, Eoin Walsh on electric bass, Davie Ryan on drums and Cormac McCarthy on piano and keyboards.
The band delivers an evocative repertoire of original melody compositions by Rynne and songs by King, produced with sensitive electronic overlays and inventive arrangements that are “cinematic in scope” (New York Echo).
With a vision to bring Traditional Irish Music into the urban arena, by placing Irish melodies within electronic, jazz, and rock, NOTIFY is spearheading an evolution of the traditional genre with its freedom, groove, high octane and emotional arrangements.
NOTIFY’s 2013 debut cd release was voted as one of the top five albums of 2014 by The Irish Times.
