FIELD TRIP

https://www.facebook.com/Field-Trip-948853065151777/ Four Galwegian ruffians, birthed from a milky cauldron of woozy vocals and toe-tapping garage pop melodies. Now under the guise of Field Trip, let the tandem union of sharp lyricism and smooth guitar with a sucker punch bring you for an enjoyable ride. Although somewhat under the radar, Field Trip’s swaying, infectious tunes are not without energy; coupled with engaging words and plucky guitar. This cheeky quartet are a tangy cocktail of all thejuicy bits of Irish garage pop music today. Throw in some Mac DeMarco, a bucket hat, and a catchy hook and you’ve got yourself a trip to remember.’ – Rebekah Rennick — — — — —

BOB SKELETON

https://www.facebook.com/bobskeleton2/ Having had their first gig less than a year ago, Bob Skeleton have wasted no time in working their way up to playing with the likes of The Strypes, Paddy Hanna and August Wells. With debut single ‘Quiver’ released in February and a full EP in the pipeline, Bob Skeleton plan on keeping busy whilst moving as many feet as possible. Frayed by the darker elements of the genre, ‘Quiver’ has enough melody and forward motion to pull it through. Especially given the slight indie-rock touches, Bob Skeleton weave into the track. ‘Quiver’ is a promising song that shows Bob Skeleton are a band more than capable of holding their own with the likes of the North Sea, Girls Names and Slow Riot.’ – The Last Mixed Tape — — — — —

MAJESTIC BEARS

https://www.facebook.com/MajesticBears/ Majestic Bears originated on a whiksey-soaked poker night at a friend’s house when Mike Burke (guitar, vocals, harmonica) and Ado Lyons (guitar, vocals) realised that they had similar tastes in music. They regularly started jamming with a banjo Ado received as a birthday present, until Wayne Foy (banjo, vocals) injected his almost sickening talent into the group. Their harmony-fuelled, acoustic/folk has developed a lot since those summer days through regular gigging around Galway and a desire to improve and hone their sound. Musician.ie – Majestic Bears “will gently carry you away beyond the sea and to familiar places of simple beauty”. GoldenPlec – “…well-crafted folk tracks, rooted in traditional, rustic sounds.
