A Weekend Away are a five piece blues/rock band from Limerick City. Originally formed in late 2014, A Weekend Away have recently burst ahead by winning UL Battle of the Bands, supported All Tvvins and hosting their packed out single launch in Dolans for their first single release.
Being praised for mixing a jaw dropping punk sound with indie and blues influenced rhythm and lead guitar.
Becoming one of the must see bands in the South-West, A Weekend Away have recently been working on the production of their debut, self titled EP with an anticipated release date of 17/7/17.
