+ guests Belfast/Dublin band Master & Dog (Formerly John, Shelly and the Creatures) are currently recording their second album due for release early next year. The band are showcasing their new material with a series of live dates around Ireland. “A BAND YOU REALLY NEED TO SEE LIVE”- THE MIRROR”On the lead up to their debut album launch in 2010, Master & Dog performed on Ireland’s biggest and most well-known TV show: The Late Late Show and also were invited to play on Dave Fannings, The Eleventh Hour. The bands first release from the album, “Long May You Reign” has been featured on the Discover Northern Ireland TV advert for the past 3 years. Their debut album has received rave reviews from national publications, declaring the band as ‘BRILLIANT.. Dazzling’(Irish Independent), ‘Sublime’ (Irish Mirror), “Effortlessly monumental’ (AU)…& destined for greatness… it was also hotly tipped for a Choice Music Prize Nomination by Irish Music Journalist Tony Clayton Lea of The Irish Times who wrote: “an exceptional grasp of texture, tone and theme” and was ‘Album of the week’ on RTE radio 1 & RTE TWO.
