GRAND are a melting pot of influence ranging from Blues to Ska, Reggae, Swing and on toward Gypsy Folk. The group was conceived through the shared love of all of these styles of music, with Phil Kermode (Guitar) & Kiefer Wilton (Trumpet & Washboard) taking it upon themselves to breathe new life into something that was evidently becoming the road less travelled. To further enhance the group, Peter Barnett (Double Bass) & John Hand (Cajon) took up position to drive the group forward with pounding groove & rhythm. Whilst the final edition of Robin Matthews (Banjo) & Sile Ni Rian (Fiddle) added a twist of folk to the mix. Having gigged extensively in the North East and recently returning from the UK, GRAND are guaranteed to keep any audience on their toes!!!
