Little Green Cars are a five piece band from Dublin. Their debut single ʻThe John Wayneʼ backed with ʻGlass Caseʼ was released on UK label Young and Lost Club (home to Noah & The Whale, Johnny Flynn, Everything Everything, Young The Giant & Fixers) on July 25th (available on itunes).
Theyʼve benefited greatly from production from David Kosten (Bat For Lashes, Everything Everything) and their sound draws from folk-rock which seems to draw inspiration from artists like Tom Waits, Fleetwood Mac and Arcade Fire.
Little Green Cars are Stevie Appleby (vocal & guitar), Adam O’Regan (vocal & guitar), Donagh Seaver OʼLeary (bass guitar), Dylan Lynch (drums) and Faye OʼRourke (vocal & guitar). Having made their debut appearance at Oxegen this summer, with a slot at Electric Picnic to come this will be their first time to play Arthur’s day. 2012 looks set to be an even better year for the band with plans to record and release their debut album.
