July 4th and 5th 2014 Light Colour Sound is a new music festival being held at Shankill castle Paul’s town, Co Kilkenny. Following on from the small Festival at the Barn on the farm in Kilmoganny last summer the organisers decided to go a little bigger and a whole lot better with a brand new venue this year.

Organically grown from a small gathering of music lovers, Light Colour Sound will host 2 full days and nights of Music.
Expect an incredible line up which includes 2 international recording artists and a host of our best and most seasoned Irish artists. An interesting and diverse spoken word stage. Combined all of this with a party on home soils for an audience of just 5000-
Over 60 bands, over three stages, set in glorious castle grounds. Welcome to your new festival.
A festival of music, food, art, culture, literature, comedy, open forums, workshops,dance, large selection of Artisan and specialist retail and food vendors, coming together with a community feel.
Light Colour Sound is proving very popular with music lovers and is growing dailywith audience. The line up has received a lot of attention and discussion.
