THE ACADEMIC DEMI LOUISE

WED 2ND & THUR 3RD JULY – SOLD OUT

IMNDA proudly presents KODALINE and special guests live for two exclusive & intimate concerts in Whelans, Wexford Street on Wednesday July 2nd and Thursday July 3rd.  All proceeds from this special event will go to helping people living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND). Tickets now SOLD OUT!

Kodaline fans lucky enough to have tickets to this concert will be treated to an exclusive preview of brand new music from their yet to be titled new album, which is slated for a release in 2015!

The band has decided to perform these exclusive tracks in this setting as a once off performance for the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association, through their close relationship with MND sufferer Jan Battles.

Speaking of the concert Jan said: “From the moment I heard Kodaline’s first song, All I Want, I was hooked on their music. They’re amazing live and I was so honoured when I asked them if they would consider doing a charity gig in aid of the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association and they agreed without hesitation. They’re generous as well as hugely talented lads. I’m so excited we’ll be getting to hear exclusive new material from their much anticipated new album. It’s going to be a great gig”.

About Motor Neurone Disease and the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association

Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a progressive neurological condition that attacks the motor neurones, or nerves, in the brain and spinal cord. This means messages gradually stop reaching muscles, which leads to weakness and wasting. MND can affect how you walk, talk, eat, drink and breathe. However, not all symptoms necessarily happen to everyone and it is unlikely they will all develop at the same time, or in any specific order

The Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association (IMNDA) is the only organisation of its kind in this country. It was set up in May 1985 to provide care and support to people with Motor Neurone Disease, their carers, families and friends. There are currently over 310 people living with MND in Ireland. MND is often referred to as the 1,000 day disease as most people die within 1,000 days of being diagnosed.
