Up front. Break-neck. Up close. Intimate. Kíla are bringing their annual Christmas show to Whelans this December 18th. Kíla have travelled far and wide again this year and two of the highlights were the Rainforest Festival in Malaysia and Áras an Uachtaráin to play for Michael D himself! Recently the play they wrote music for won the Prix Europa for best radio drama. They are half way through their next album, which is due for release next March and are working a score for the follow-up animation of the makers of the Oscar nominated Secret of Kells. Hip shaking. Mood making. Funky, folky and smiley!
