In Their Thousands are an Alternative Folk Rock Band from Donegal in the North West of Ireland. The band released two singles in 2015 “Four in the Morning” in September & “Woodcutter” in November. This is the first of five single/music video releases on the Andromeda Artisans platform between now and Spring 2016.
Andromeda Artisans is an artist centric platform developed to empower musicians and songwriters to maximise their potential. Currently the band is writing material for the forthcoming Debut Album due for release in 2016.
In Their Thousands are brothers Aidan and Declan Mc Clafferty and Cousin Ruairi Friel. They began creating their own brand of music in 2011 and to date have released four extended play records: In Their Thousands 2012, Cellars 2012, Between the Waters 2013 and ENDS 2014. The band was chosen as best unsigned act in Ireland by a panel of industry experts and Hotpress Magazine in 2012.

Since 2012 In Their Thousands have toured in Ireland, The United Kingdom and Mainland Europe playing music festivals big and small, renowned music venues and even creating their own pop up one night only music venues in the wilds of the Irish countryside. This has led them full circle back to creating new material with the Andromeda project and currently their debut album.
The ethos of not doing the conventional is something that runs to the core of this band. Beautifully crafted songs with dynamic arrangements, powerful vocal harmonies and encapsulating hooks barely scratch the surface of the music they make. Their live set changes from vocal harmony laced acoustic folk to edgy electric alternative rock. In Their Thousands possess mass appeal and incite emotion in anybody who hears them perform. The reason for this is simple. They write and play honest music.
