KAPITALS & DWELLING FOR JACKALS

**Tickets €10 including booking fee on sale this Friday at 9am**

HOGAN is a band that is constantly evolving music wise & quite clearly not keen on staying in one place for too long or said in another way…. LOVE touring. HOGAN is fronted by guitarist and songwriter Mark Hogan with Ronan Nolan (Drums), Johnny Westman (bass) and Wayne Brereton (lead guitar). Over the last four years HOGAN has become known for their energetic, electric live performances and has received significant support from national press and radio at home

Last year was quite the year for Offaly based band, HOGAN. Together with three German tours including festival appearances at Mai City Festival. In Fassberg where they headlined before a crowd of about 7000 people, Norderstedt and Dithmarscher Rock Festivals with Royal Republic and Stereolove in August and a spectacular live show held as part of Berlin Fashion Week in October 2012, the band also travelled to China for festival dates and also undertook a large volume of live shows in Ireland including, a number of dates with their friend Bressie. HOGAN culminated its live diary for 2012 by selling out its headline show on at Academy 2 in October, in two weeks or less!

All this and HOGAN still managed to commence writing their new album and release One of the best radio singles of the year in “No, No, No”. The single cracked the Top 40 of the Irish airplay charts in October, first day Number 13 of Irish ITunes Charts and was chosen as the UTV Irish single of the month in September 2012 reaching a collective radio audience of 1,000,000 people! The single “No, No, No” was recorded at Modern World Studios near to London with Greg Haver producing (Manic Street Preachers, Lost Prophets, Super Furry Animals and many more). Greg is also working with HOGAN on their new album.
