Acclaimed Irish folk musician Fionn Regan is to play a very special seasonal show in the magnificent surroundings of the Unitarian Church on Stephen’s Green on Tuesday 18th December. Since the release of his debut album The End Of History in 2006 Regan has gone from strength to strength and has has received nominations for the Choice Music Prize in Ireland, the Mercury Prize in the United Kingdom and the Shortlist Music Prize in the United States. Regan has cited Bob Dylan and Neil Young as influences on his music and has been referred to by Lucinda Williams as “this generation’s answer to Bob Dylan”.
On September 7th, barely a year after the release of his critically lauded and highest charting album 100 Acres Of Sycamore, Fionn released his latest opus The Bunkhouse Vol.1: Anchor Black Tattoo, a stripped back & darker affair than previous outings but no less arresting or engaging and shows Regan still bursting with craft, imagination and humour.
