Hidden Agenda presents

DELS

(Big Dadda/UK)

_ Main Venue _

Hidden Agenda are very excited to bring you one of the UK’s truly most exciting and innovative artists to the stage of Whelans for an intimate live show on March 13th. DELS is the London based rapper who’s forward thinking and visceral music is signed to the Big Dada/Ninja Tune inprint alongside Young Fathers and Kate Tempest. Having worked with other artists such as Joe Goddard (Hot Chip/The 2 Bears), KWES and Mikachu to create a compelling and visual collection of songs since 2010 DELS has been a game changer on the UK rap scene. DELS will be playing live with his band to give the audience an experience that can almost be described as “Hip-hop that is more like New Order than The Roots”. DELS album ‘Petals Have Fallen’ is out now via Big Dada/Ninja Tune. It is an ultra-modern hip-hop masterpiece. “I met most of the artists and producers that contributed to this album on MySpace back in 2005,” DELS remembers. We had a page called “Loners”, where myself and the likes of Kwes, Micachu, Ghostpoet, Sampha, Coby Sey, Elan Tamara were all featured – way before anybody knew who we were. We always said that we’d do a proper album together eventually. Petals Have Fallen is probably the closest thing to that collaborative album happening to date’ – DELS 2014 Petals Have Fallen press links: http://www.clashmusic.com/reviews/dels-petals-have-fallen http://www.dummymag.com/news/stream-dels-rgb-produced-by-micachu-kwes-from-new-album-petals-have-fallen Links to music:
