++ Interesting things people say ++

“Urge you to check them out, We Tried is a brilliant track” Lauren Laverne, BBC 6Music, November 2011

“Bold and brash angular indie with oodles of sweet-as melodies” Jim Carroll, irishtimes.com/ontherecord/new-music, January 2011

“Although they’re harmonious pop in places and definite rock in others, the vocals are incredibly catchy in that summer-singalong way. Not To Fall, Out It and Some Other Tactic make a bold impression and if I was a gambler, I’d wager that there’s enough offbeat rock temper between this album’s happy moments to guarantee great popularity with certain pro-Indie camps around the country.” Nay McArdle, harmlessnoise.entertainment.ie/2010/07/new-bouts/

Amateur Historians are Chris Curry, Luke Casey and Gerard McCorry and we write songs about making terrible life decisions. The band formed towards the end of 2010 and make noisy pop songs in the hope that we can manage to escape our dreary day-to-day lives into the glamour of the middling indie rock band touring scene. Expect feedback, lots of feedback.
