ENTHEOS

Entheos recently released their E.P ‘Where Creatures Meet’ on September 30th 2012 and it is available for FREE DOWNLOAD from entheosirl.bandcamp.com

Entheos are a well established six piece Dublin band that draws on their roots in the gritty side of rock, contemporary folk, classical and traditional music to create a grungy folk sound that is unique and consistently hard to define. Once described as ‘what you might get if Alice in Chains met Planxty in an opium den in Tangiers’, the various influences of the band’s members are blended together and infused with a strong percussive backbone. Over the past couple of years Entheos have made a name for themselves as an energetic and engaging live act playing regularly in Dublin, around Ireland and in far flung places such as Warsaw in Poland, and have also played support to some of the biggest names in Irish music, including Damien Dempsey, Grada and Kila. They are due to release their new E.P ‘Where Creatures Meet’ in September 2012

“..a five-piece acoustic unit that play a gritty form of guitar-driven folk…with galloping rhythms…attractive mid Eastern flavours, sturdy bodhran and gutsy vocals…” Hot Press ‘Entheos have woven a fluid structure of vocals, guitars, violins, percussion and melodies, and the result is truly amazing.” Midland Tribune

WINDOW SEATS

Window Seats play alternative rock music. Whether the message is love, anger or both at once the songs remain intense and direct. This unsigned band (Jude McCaffrey, Didsy Bradley and Tony Furnell) has self-produced five music videos, four single releases and an EP. They are the first unsigned Northern Ireland act to be featured on MTV Networks.

The band’s latest music video “Local Superhero” has been playlisted on MTV Rocks, Kerrang! TV, QTV and on BBC Big Screens in 22 cities across the UK. The video also received a nomination for Best Production Effects at the Irish Music Television Awards in December 2011.

Acclaimed debut EP “Frozen Bones” (Dec 2011) has received national radio play across the UK and Ireland. It is mixed and mastered by Neal Calderwood (General Fiasco, Fighting With Wire, Jody Has A Hitlist).

The followup video to Local Superhero, “Juliette’s” Letter” released on music channels Autumn 2012. The video is both produced and directed by the band, with a much smaller production team, but is no less ambitious than Local Superhero. The release will be supported by a UK and Ireland tour in November.
