Ami Grady is back in Whelan’s on 23rd April previewing songs from her new album which is due out in September.

Ami Grady is an Irish singer songwriter with a range of soulful, acoustic songs. She gained four star Irish Times and Hotpress reviews and comparisons to Sheryl Crow and Amiee Mann her songs range from the quirky to folk to country with modern contemporary twists. With supports around Ireland with legends such as Christy Moore, Paul Brady and Brian Kennnedy she has kept good musical company and played to a hugely varied audience in a wide variety of venues across the country. Ami also enjoys creating her own unique vibe on modern and old classics. She has had songs covered by Frances Black (Precious Lines) and has also done backing vocals on the most recent Chieftians album (School days Over). She has two albums to her credit, Precious Lines and 24 hours, the most recent produced with Grammy award winner Malcolm Burn. Her 3rd album is currently in production. She has gained 4-star reviews in both the Irish Times and Hotpress. She is launching her album on April 23rd so we expect a sell out show with great songs… Listen here – http://amigrady.com/index.php/albums
