_ Main Venue _

The Man from Moogaga, is hitting the road and coming to Dublin!! But this time he’s taking his Latchikos with him for a very special night in Whelan’s.

You may be familiar with Aindrias de Staic, having appeared in RTE’s “The Hardy Bucks”, presented on TG4 and according to The Irish times, he and his band, The Latchikos, “had steam coming off bald men’s heads” at Electric Picinic!!
What started as a small one-man performance about music, friendship and a cursed football team (!), The Man from Moogaga is rapidly becoming the comedy-theatre experience of the moment and has recently been adapted for radio due to air on Newstalk in December.

The show, a musical-comedy-story-telling hybrid, has proved a huge hit as the opening event of Westport Arts Festival 2015, during its sellout run at Vodafone Comedy Carnival in Galway, Dublin’s Cobblestones venue and sent ripples through comedy tents in festivals all over Ireland this summer. The Latchikos have long had a cult following at all of these festivals including B&S, EP and Townlands Carnival.

“The performance is half seanchaí, half shaman, half ‘Fiddler of Dooney” with a whallop of Flann O’Brien thrown into the mix for good measure”. www.state.ie

Catch de Staic, and The Latchikos once more when he treats the Capital to an extraordinary DOUBLE-BILL performance with full-LATCHIKO-lineup after storytelling show in Whelan’s on December 4th at 8 p.m.

C’mere I wancha ‘cos this is gonna be EPIC! To avoid disappointment, book early and book often!!!
