We are very excited to be showcasing music, stories, poetry and more from Stephen Clarke, LemonCello, Fiachra Meek Traditional Musician, Conchúir Mac Amhlaoibh, Tashka, Navy Cut and Hatchlings. HATCHLINGS

www.facebook.com/hatchlingsmusic https://soundcloud.com/hatchlings Formed in autumn of 2015, Hatchlings are a 5 piece band who draw influence from jazz, folk, R’n’B, rock and classical music. Performances range from lively electric sets to mellow acoustic appearances. Recent performances of note include supporting Planet Parade in Whelans, Whelans Midnight Hour, Whelans Ones To Watch Festival, a sold out headline gig at L’Artisanes Thés Cafés in Saint Quentin, France, We-Bloom Sessions in The Workmans Club, a win at the King Kong Club semifinals, and the GoldenPlec Stage at Vantastival. A review by Dublin Concerts of Hatchlings performance with Planet Parade stated ‘Hatchlings embody joyful alternative, even bringing to mind The Kooks at an instance. Each band member is truly into it – wearing stage presence like second nature…Musical adeptness is in abundance; a mixture of entrancing lyrics, riffs and cries – all spinning together blissfully and fiercely.’ (Full Review) Upcoming performances include Borris House Festival of Writing and Ideas and Picnic in the Park in Manchester, UK. LEMONCELLO

www.facebook.com/LemonCelloIreland www.youtube.com/lemoncelloireland LemonCello, Laura Quirke (guitar, vocals) and Claire Kinsella (cello, vocals), draw influence from folk, jazz, blues, classical music and more. Building on these influences, their voices in harmony combined with cello and guitar instrumentation create a rooted original sound. Notable performances for the duo include two performances at the 2015 Electric Picnic festival, support slots for The Hot Sprockets and Damien Dempsey, appearances on TG4 and Dublin radio shows including Radiomade, and recently, a sold out headline performance at Musee De La Piscine in Roubaix, France. TASHKA

Through their fascinating rhythms and flowing folk-influenced melodies, Tashka’s presence is electric, filling venues with a wall of rich, textured sound and ear-worm hooks. Performances of note include Vantastival 2015, supporting LA based band ‘Sea Monkey See’, Whelans Ones To Watch Festival, and We-Bloom Sessions. Upcoming performances include McKenna’s Bar in Monaghan and Borris House Festival of Writing and Ideas. Tashka helped to found independent arts collective, Common Grounds Collective.
