I Have a Tribe is Patrick O’Laoghaire – Tribe to suggest belonging, invitation, warmth. If there’s a tribe to be joined it is to be joined with abandon and authenticity, and the intention to create moments of honest beauty. The writer and musician based in Louisburgh, Co.Mayo has been described as one of Ireland’s “most exceptional musicians” by the Irish Times. O’Laoghaire has travelled worldwide with his songs. He has taken part in the People festival (curated by Bon Iver), Sounds from a Safe Harbour, Other Voices, and opened shows for Lisa Hannigan, Villagers and Anna Calvi. There is an elemental, instinctive nature to his work. O’Laoghaire performs at the piano, with improvised set lists and often changing arrangements.

I Have a Tribe will present new songs from a forthcoming album ready for release in 2022.
