Frank Turner has had an exciting year, two major highlights including a once in a lifetime performance at the Olympic Opening Ceremony and headling at London’s Wembley Arena for the largest headline show of his career. He returns to Ireland to play Whelans on Sunday 9th December.
Following a summer packed with UK and European festivals, Frank Turner will be releasing his favourite track ‘If Ever I Stray’ this month, this accompanies the release of ‘Frank Turner: Live At Wembley DVD on 3rd on September 2012’. A DVD that features Frank’s triumphant headline show at Wembley Arena on 13th April in full as well as a bonus disc that includes: ‘I Still Believe’ – a documentary charting life on the road with Frank Turner, as he tours all over the world in the run up to the Wembley show; Beans On Toast’s Road To Wembley – a shorter documentary filmed by Frank following Beans On Toast on the day he supports Frank at Wembley; and promo videos for all the singles taken from current album England Keep My Bones, including ‘If Ever I Stray’.
England Keep My Bones, Frank’s fourth studio album was released in June 2011 with sales toppling over 60,000. That summer saw Frank head across to the Atlantic for his largest full band headline tour to date. He has been world tour ever since and continues the tour with an extensive headline run in the UK and Ireland this November. It’s been a long journey but Frank’s path to total world domination continues. Expect great things…
