‘For Foresters’ are a theatrical, poetic and expressive three-piece act from Co. Donegal.
Formed in June 2015; they are comprised of Gabriel Paschal Blake (guitar/vocals), Conal Doherty (bass) and Gary Hamilton (drums).
Their music is presented with a deep focus on lyrical narratives accompanied by ethereal tones and compelling melodies. For Foresters are not just musicians but storytellers who recite their pro’s through raw, honest tunes.
Their live shows have never been more energetic, dynamic and emotional. Performing in ensembles of up to 7, w/ Sax, Ambient Vocals and Layering Guitar, their musical and live ideas are realized. Real life, re-created through art.
They are just off the back of releasing their Debut Single, ‘Towels,’ on 23/01/07. As well as being one of the highlights of the Other Voices Music Trail 2016 and performing at Whelan’s Ones to Watch 2017.
