As part of The Big Busk for Focus Ireland, we’re looking to crown Ireland’s best up and coming busking act.

Dermot Kennedy, Ed Sheeran, Tracy Chapman, all these amazing artists started their careers singing on the street so we’re looking for Ireland’s next big act that will soon go on to achieve amazing things, just like these artists have done.
We’re asking you to step up, sing out, and make a difference with Today FM’s Big Busk for Focus Ireland 2025 on Friday March 7th.
We’re calling all singers, musicians, bands, choirs, community groups, pubs and schools to play your part in ending homelessness.
Perform at one of Focus Ireland’s busking events across the country or host your own event in your local community.

Over 55,000 people have experienced homelessness in the past decade.
15,119 people currently find themselves without a home
10,541 adults find themselves without a home
4,658 children find themselves without a home
2,168 families find themselves without a home
Last year, 5 families became homeless every single day
What do Focus Ireland do to help?
Offer support services and help rebuild people’s lives
Provide housing, secure homes for individuals and families
Advocate for change by campaigning for systemic solution to the homelessness crisis
