Formed to pay homage to trailblazing women in music, The Kates are an exciting five-piece from West Cork comprising Eve Clague, Liz Clark, Mary Beth O’Mahony, Míde Houlihan and Paula K O’Brien.
All five members are established artists in their own right, with years of songwriting, live performance, and original releases behind them. Now united under one name, The Kates have created a powerful collection of original music, showcased in their debut EP Pictures Here Of Dreams.
Their early singles earned a four-week feature on the RTE Radio 1 Recommends list, and with sold-out shows already under their belt, the band is now recording their highly anticipated debut album.
