Combining the lush delicacies of indie rock and the unforgiving grittiness of punk, Star Current, influenced by the likes of Arctic Monkeys, The Smiths and Rage Against the Machine, have knitted together a tight fanbase with their chorusy, effect driven guitars, intricate basslines, thunderous drumming and powerful vocals that create a high-energy, immersive experience, creating a memorable atmosphere with every show they play.
Merricat
Merricat blends grunge and alternative rock with a dreamy, slightly spooky feel. Forming in early 2025, the band met and formed in art college and are now based in Dublin, Ireland. The band consists of vocalist and rhythm guitarist Kelly Branagan, Kai Malone on bass, Oisin McGough on lead guitar and Joshua Hayes on the drums.
MDR
Emerging from the heart of Cork and Tipperary, MDR are one of Ireland’s most exciting new indie-rock acts. MDR have taken the Irish music scene by storm after their debut Irish tour where they cemented themselves as a band whose only direction is forward. Their music has been compared to a combination of the vulnerable lyricism of Dolores O’Riordan and the driving music of The Smiths.
