We are delighted to present an evening of beautifully crafted Folk songs with Seán Millar AKA Doctor Millar. This renowned ‘musicians musician’, storyteller and songwriter hails from Dublin.
Seán is also a writer and global award winning theatre composer. He’s released 5 solo critically acclaimed albums and played in iconic European venues and festivals such as Glastonbury and Electric Picnic.
Artists such as Damien Rice, Jack Lukeman, Gavin Friday and Tom Dunne have sung Seán Millar songs. Pablo Nutini has highly praised his lyrical style.
His album ‘The Bitter Lie’ got him nominated for a Hotpress Heineken award for best songwriter and has made several critics best Irish albums of all time lists.
Seán’s honest and genuine songs often explore the complex and contradictory nature of the darker side of love. He has included some rarer songs in his Love & Darkness tour.
