REROUTE
DEBUT EP LAUNCH – ‘CAN YOU SPEAK TO ME?’
Little Whelan’s • Sun 15th December 2024
ReRoute are delighted to announce the launch of their debut EP “Can you speak to me?” on December 15th in Little Whelan’s, Dublin 2. Join ReRoute as they bring their songs to life, sharing the stories and emotions woven into each track.
“Can you speak to me?” features songs written by vocalist Rufina Tishina and guitarist Emily O’Rourke, each one a personal journey through lived experiences and pivotal life moments. With lyrics that are both honest and raw, ReRoute invites listeners to reflect, connect, and feel deeply alongside them. They hope these songs resonate with each person present, whether as a reminder of shared struggles, a glimpse into someone else’s story, or simply as a moment to pause and feel.
Joining them for the night will be bassist Graham Heaney and drummer Niall Crichton. Graham Heaney is a bass player with many years of experience performing and recording with acts such as Saint Sister, Oisín Leech, Steve Gunn, Hozier and the National Concert Hall’s Echo band. Niall Crichton is a drummer based in Dublin, performing regularly with different jazz adjacent groups such asThe Hayley Kavanagh Quartet, Adam Nolan, Lifts and Asha Ari.
Together, they’ll perform the EP in full, along with several other original pieces.
Can You Speak to Me? was brought to life with the support of the Platform 4 Recording Bursary Award from Kildare County Council, whose encouragement and backing helped make this project possible
