May 2025 heralded the release of Pete Holidai’s critically acclaimed album ELECTRIC JUKEBOX VOLUME ONE.

This was followed by the debut performance by Pete’s new band who delivered ELECTRIC JUKEBOX LIVE to a capacity crowd in October.

Pete is delighted to announce the launch of the first single from ELECTRIC JUKEBOX VOLUME TWO – “Television Screen Hi-Def 2026” is an invigorating rework of the Radiators from space classic Punk single from 1977. Recorded at Pilgrim Sound studio it features the Liz Lawlor and Ro Callaghan (The Thrash Blues) on Drums and Bass and Jason Douglas (The Rebel Souls) on Baritone sax with Pete on lead vocals and guitar.

The Electric Jukebox Live band are back and delighted to bring their show to the intimate surroundings of Whelan’s upstairs venue on Saturday 31st January.

Special guest on the night is Tony St Ledger who will be showcasing songs from his forthcoming solo LP Man On A Bridge which is set for release in the Spring 2026.


Pete was a founder member of The Radiators from space whose original line-up produced two albums for London based label Chiswick records 1977’s TV Tube Heart and 1979s Ghostown which was produced by Tony Visconti. The band also worked with a young Hans Zimmer who produced two singles Dancing Years and Stranger Than Fiction in 1979

The Radiators reformed in 2004 and produced two albums on their own 625 label
2006s Trouble Pilgrim and 2012s Sound City Beat

Pete also played live and recorded with Dublin based band Light A Big Fire between 1986 and 1988, contributing guitar and vocals to the UK Siren records release of Surveillance

For many years Pete produced radio sessions for RTE 2fm’s Dave Fanning show, while also working with a range of new and emerging artists which lead to a Smithwicks/HotPress award for production in 1991

Pete also managed the career of Kilkenny band Engine Alley who signed with U2s Mother label and a publishing deal with Carlin music

In 2011 Pete released a solo album The Devil’s Guitar which fuses lounge exotica and surf twang to produce a sound that could grace any Lynch or Tarantino film.

Currently Pete is playing with Trouble Pilgrims along with original Radiators member Steve Rapid and long term member Johnny Bonnie along with bassist Bren Lynott and rhythm guitarist Tony St Ledger, their debut album Dark Shadows and Rust was released in 2017 on Chiswick records and is available worldwide via Ace.
2021 saw the release of the second album Blood, Glass & Gasoline on FIFA records

2021 saw the opening of Pilgrim Sound a recording and mixing room in North County Dublin

2025: January 1st saw the release of the first single “On The Jukebox In The Corner” from the forthcoming solo album ELECTRIC JUKEBOX VOLUME ONE
