Paul McKenna is one of Scotland’s leading folk voices, praised for his emotive singing and contemporary songwriting. Since forming The Paul McKenna Band in 2006, he has earned accolades including Scots Singer of the Year and performed worldwide. His music blends traditional roots with modern in fluences, seen in collaborations with artists like Tim O’Brien, Dave Gunning, and Ímar. The band’s latest release, Setting Sun, pays tribute to traditional folk with fresh arrangements of timeless songs. Paul has also featured at major festivals like Celtic Connections and shared stages with Dick Gaughan, Cara Dillon, and Billy Bragg, among many others.
