MARK McGLUE

Little Whelan’s • Mon 20th April 2026
Mark McGlue is an Australian singer-songwriter creating a musical mosaic of melodic poetry in soulful freaky-folk blues forms; blending older styles with indie pop sensibility into something original. Intricate guitar lines weave around crooning vocal phrases, the words full of dark humour and psychedelic wonder at the miracle of being alive.
With three solo albums to date and two with psych-rock act Silver Hills, he performed gigs on lineups with members of Perth rock god royalty such as Tame Impala, Spacey Jane etc and cut his teeth in that milieu (his anonymity remains intact).
Mark plays in a trio for his Dublin headline debut at Little Whelan’s Monday April 20th with very special guests Second Cousin!
Second Cousin are a new indie-folk act made up of Elishka Lane and Nathan O’Maoilearca. The two singer-songwriters proudly continue the long-standing tradition of the boy/girl folk duo – whether the world needed another one or not.
Their music sounds a little like what you’d make if your parents let you have a sleepover: warm, slightly chaotic, and probably happening a bit past bedtime. Skirting dangerously between twee and twang, their influences land somewhere between Weezer and Dolly Parton, a combination they insist makes more sense than it should. Their debut single is set to be released this summer.
It promises to be a night of exquisite revelry; blazing a trail of folky fabulousness.
