J Smith has graced the Whelan’s stage many times in his career as frontman of Gypsies on the Autobahn, but following their split in 2020, this will be the first time as a solo artist. Inspired by artists Nik Drake, Julia Jacklin and Radiohead,
J brings his unique folk rock style for his first headline gig since releasing his critically acclaimed debut in May 2021 which cemented him as one of Ireland’s “most fearlessly honest and authentic artists in the country” – [Hotpress].
