HARRY FENNELL
Harry Fennell is a Dublin-born, Galway-based folk songwriter blending contemporary folk with alternative influences and character-driven storytelling. As noted by Hot Press, “He cites Leonard Cohen, there’s also some Nilsson humour, a Dylan-esque eye for the absurd and a splash of Ray Davies.” With a fascination for lyrical depth and the absurdity of human emotion, Fennell’s songs are emotionally rich, challenging, and often laced with dark humour.
Signing with Rubarb Music in 2024, who have since released his three most recent singles. His latest single, MAD, released March 13th, continues this trajectory, with his next single, Funeral Flower, set for release in May 2026.
Known for unforgettable live performances and reflective folk ballads, Fennell is emerging as a distinctive voice in Ireland’s contemporary folk scene. Join Harry Fennell and his band for a special, intimate evening in Little Whelan’s on the 19th of May.
AMY MICHELLE
“amy michelle is a beguiling new artist tackling the anxieties of modern life with a delicate but determined touch. Her acute eye for capturing adolescence now looks outwards, even when staring into the unknown. Drawing on horror films, fairy tales, home movies, and a hauntingly beautiful exploration of life’s big questions, it’s all soaked in a purple hue that feels signature to amy michelle’s open, potent and at times unsettling way with alternative-pop.”
