KEVIN MURPHY
Kevin Murphy is a celebrated Irish cellist, multi-instrumentalist, composer and songwriter.
He is a founding member of critically acclaimed Irish experimental bands ‘Slow Moving Clouds’ and ‘Seti The First’
Kevin has featured as a guest musician with many Irish and international artists such as The National, Bon Iver, Jenny Lewis, Lisa Hannigan, Gavin Friday, Rick Danko, Seamus Fogarty, Adrian Crowley and Dave Gahan of Depeche
Mode John Spillane, Cathy Jordan, the late great Phil and Cormac Breathnach.
Kevin features on several of Ger’s albums including ‘Fréamh’ and ‘I Have Been Loved’, bringing his own uniquely beautiful musical mastery to every song, almost telepathically, whether in live performance or the collaborative context of the recording studio
