Cormac Looby is a singer-songwriter from Tipperary based in Galway, where he honed his craft as a busker. He has previously featured on BBC Introducing and more recently the RTÉ Radio 1 Recommends Playlist, with his latest single ‘Patriot’. This is taken from his debut EP recorded with full live band at the Black Gate Studio, Galway, and is set for release February 2022. The EP combines elements of pop, rock and traditional Irish music, with influences ranging from Phoebe Bridgers and Mick Flannery to Sam Fender.
