CONOR KINSELLA
LIVE WITH 6-PIECE BAND
plus support
Whelan’s Upstairs • Friday 19th June 2026
Conor Kinsella is a genre-bending punk artist and producer from Dublin. Created in 2025, the project looks to the idea of genre itself as a tool for writing new music which pokes through the gaps which exist between styles. Exploring primarily political and self-deprecating themes which seek to unpack the chaotic and disturbing nature of life in the present age, the live set combines punk beats, semi-improvised ambient jams, jazz-influenced arrangements and tightly sequenced dance rhythms, at times equally confusing and familiar. Conor Kinsella has supported the likes of folk-punk legends Crywank at their sold-out headline show in Dublin in 2026. On June 19th, he debuts the newest iteration of his live set, complete with a six-piece band encompassing vocals, saxophone, trumpet, viola, keys, guitar, bass and drums.
