At aged 13, Ciaran Moran took to the stage of Whelan’s Main Room to open for Damien Dempsey for his very first live performance back in 2011.
May 12th 2023 Moran headlines the Main Venue after (2) successful Sold Out shows in Dublin in 2022 at The Academy 2 & Upstairs at Whelan’s.
Proudly Born & Raised in Dublin’s North Inner City, Ciarán Moran has vastly jumped from A sold out Whelan’s upstairs last April, to a Sold Out Academy 2 in November. The singer-songwriter has just announced his biggest headline show in Whelan’s Main Room this May 12th with tickets on sale now.
With (5) years of touring as a support act for some of Ireland’s biggest names including Aslan, Christy Dignam, Bagatelle, Jamie Webster and More! Moran has built up a loyal following as seen in recent months with crowds from all parts of the country joining the shows!
The show will have some special guest performers on the night. Along with his usual crowd participation as the other act in the room.
Joined by his Full Band on the night, Irish Musicians (Adam Grogan, David Mahady, Alessandro Giusti & Aaron O’Reilly), Moran lends us the confidence that this will be the best show of his career!
