Ciaran Gribbin Announces New Single “Tighten Up The Knot” & Two Irish Shows
Grammy-nominated songwriter and former INXS frontman Ciaran Gribbin is delighted to announce the release of his highly anticipated new single, “Tighten Up The Knot”, available everywhere on July 31, 2026.
The track marks a bold evolution in the artist’s sound. “Tighten Up The Knot” is a high-energy, upbeat pop track that explores themes of resilience and the love of family in a turbulent world.
Recorded at Aviator Studios, Sydney, Australia, and produced by award-winning producer Paul Beard (Lily Allen, Robbie Williams), the song blends piano, Americano-infused guitars and hook-filled melodies.

The single follows a remarkable career that has seen Gribbin co-write the Grammy-nominated “Celebration” for Madonna, compose the soundtrack for the U2-backed film Killing Bono, collaborate with Al Pacino on the film Danny Collins, and tour the world as frontman of INXS.
Ciaran Gribbin returns to Ireland later this summer for two very special shows in his home county of Derry, followed by a Dublin headline show.
