Caroline Keane brings you an evening of vibrant, emotive, and highly expressive contemporary Irish music on concertina.

Expect a dynamic live performance of energetic and emotive moments, experienced in the setting where this music truly thrives — shared, immediate, and alive.

Caroline Keane is one of the leading voices in contemporary concertina playing, recognised for her vibrant, emotive style and fearless approach to Irish traditional music. Combining deep respect for tradition with a creative and evolving practice, her work spans performance, composition, and education. She has toured extensively across Europe, North America, Australia, and New Zealand, performing at major festivals and cultural events, and has shared stages with The Chieftains, Andy Irvine, Liam Ó Maonlaí, Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh, Gerry O’Beirne, Steve Cooney, and Dermot Byrne. Awarded Female Musician of the Year at the ASLR Celtic Music Awards (2020) and nominated for Musician of the Year at the RTÉ Folk Awards, she holds first-class honours BA and MA degrees from the University of Limerick. Based in the Gaeltacht of West Kerry, Caroline works internationally as a performer, educator, and lecturer, and has just released her second studio album Rise.
