After a successful 15 city run of sold out and standing room only shows at some of the most highly regarded indie comedy venues in North America (The Hideout Chicago, Union Hall NYC, PianoFight San Francisco, Fallout Theater Austin, Comedy Bar Toronto), Cara Connors is taking her hour back on the road for a summer tour featuring an additional 15 cities throughout the U.S and Europe. Her solo show, Straight for Pay, brings her unique brand of high energy, self-effacing and unapologetically feminist and queer comedy to Dublin for the first time.

SHOW DESCRIPTION:
A “formerly kept woman and your current girlfriend’s favorite ex-girlfriend,” her headlining show at the New York Comedy Festival was described as “extraordinarily self-aware, deeply anxious and very self-effacing with some guttural screams thrown in for good measure.” A perpetual late bloomer, the hour explores Connors’ second adolescence and sexual awakening, post-divorce “rumspringa,” and occasionally feral existence as a queer, millennial comedian chasing her dreams in Los Angeles while trying to make up for lost time.
